Course Details:

  • Clearing buildings, working doors, and entering rooms is a common but challenging task. This course introduces the student to tactics and techniques of building clearing. Students will learn individual, two man, and team entry techniques. How to engage single and multiple threats while making shoot / no-shoot decisions. Students will also learn Close Quarter Battle (CQB) techniques. Learn how to safely and effectively move and operate inside of a building. Clearing a building can be extremely dangerous. This course is intense and as realistic as it gets. Important concepts are learned and validated.

Equipment:

  • Handgun w/ normal duty gear or standard carry gear
  • (3) spare magazines or speed loaders
  • Patrol Rifle w/ (3) spare magazines.
  • 200 rounds ammunition Handgun
  • 300 rounds Rifle
  • Standard Tactical or Patrol Gear (bring body armor)
  • Eye and Ear protection
  • Appropriate clothing for the range/weather
  • Sunscreen, hat, rain gear, water
