Course Details:

  • In the tactical rifle class we will develop the skills necessary to safely deploy the patrol rifle during tactical operations and personal defense situations. You will learn the skills to deal with threats from CQB distances and out to hundreds of yards while safely operating in a real world environment. We will integrate movement, the layered defense, multiple threats/target acquisition, alternative shooting positions, and more. We will build your skills under varying degrees of stress and difficulty.

  • Firearms safety.
  • Fundamentals of shooting.
  • Mental conditioning and combat mindset development.
  • Loading and unloading procedures.
  • Safe operation and control of the rifle.
  • Threat assessment and target acquisition.
  • Alternative shooting positions.
  • Malfunction clearance drills.
  • The reactionary gap.
  • Controlling the battlefield.
  • And many more.

Equipment:

  • Patrol Rifle w/ (3) spare magazines and sling (Rifles should be equipped with iron sights).
  • Standard Tactical gear or patrol gear.
  • Handgun w/ normal duty gear or standard carry gear.
  • .3) spare magazines or speed loaders.
  • 500 rounds ammunition Rifle.
  • 200 rounds ammunition Handgun.
  • Eye and Ear protection.
  • Appropriate clothing for the range/weather.
  • Sunscreen, hat, rain gear, water.
